NAREIT Compensation Survey: With participation from 109 REITs and real estate companies, NAREIT's 2011 Compensation Survey provides our most comprehensive summary of annual compensation data covering 104 employment positions - the largest number of positions in the Survey's history. This year's Survey also includes information for boards of directors and employment agreements. On an aggregate basis, the 95 participating publicly traded companies represent approximately $509 billion in total market capitalization, which is 75% of the total capitalization in the publicly traded, U.S. real estate investment trust industry, truly making this Survey representative of the overall market.
