Annaly Capital Management Inc. (NYSE: NLY) appointed Glen Votek as chief administrative officer. Prior to this appointment, he was president of consumer finance at CIT Group Inc.


Ares Commercial Real Estate Corp.’s board of directors announced that director Todd Schuster will become co-CEO. He has also been named a senior partner in the Real Estate Group of Ares Management LLC.


Jessett

Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT) named Alexander Jessett as CFO. He is replacing Dennis Steen, who is retiring after serving as the company’s CFO for 10 years.


Chimera Investment Corp. (NYSE: CIM) announced that Robert Colligan will become CFO. He was previously a controller at Starwood Capital Group.


Cole Credit Property Trust III Inc. has changed its name to Cole Real Estate Investments Inc. The company has appointed Jeffrey Holland to serve as its president and COO. The company also named Stephan Keller as executive vice president, CFO and treasurer.


Cousins Properties Inc. (NYSE: CUZ) announced the promotion of Colin Connolly to the role of chief investment officer. He had served as a senior vice president with the company since 2011.


Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE) announced the resignation of CFO Christie B. Kelly. She will be replaced by Mark A. Denien, senior vice president and chief accounting officer.


FelCor Lodging Trust Inc. (NYSE: FCH) named Michael Hughes as its CFO, treasurer and senior vice president, succeeding Andy Welch. Hughes had been serving as the company’s treasurer.


Federal Realty Investment Trust (NYSE: FRT) was presented with three awards by the Alliance for Workplace Excellence. Federal Realty received the 2013 Workplace Excellence Award, the 2013 Health and Wellness Trailblazer Award and the 2013 EcoLeadership Award.


Host Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE: HST) named Gregory Larson as its new CFO. He previously served as executive vice president for corporate strategy and assumed leadership of dispositions in 2011. Struan Robertson, chief investment officer, will take over as head of the company’s disposition efforts.

Kimco Realty Corp. (NYSE: KIM) announced that Conor Flynn will become executive vice president and COO, succeeding Mike Pappagallo, who is taking a position as president and CFO of Brixmor Property Group.

Phillips Edison – ARC Shopping Center REIT Inc. named John Bessey to serve as co-president and chief investment officer. Additionally, R. Mark Addy was appointed co-president.


Scott

Prologis, Inc. (NYSE: PLD) announced the retirement of Guy F. Jacquier, the firm’s CEO for private capital. In addition, the company’s chief human resources officer, Nancy J. Hemmenway, is also retiring. As part of the transition, Diana Scott will join the company as chief human resources officer. Previously, Scott was senior vice president of human resources for John Hancock Financial.


Retail Properties of America Inc. (NYSE: RPAI) announced that James Kleifges has resigned as executive vice president and chief accounting officer. Julie Swinehart, senior vice president and corporate controller, will assume the role of principal accounting officer.


Zale

Simon Property Group, Inc. (NYSE: SPG) named Liz Zale senior vice president in the newly created role of overseeing corporate affairs and communications. Prior to taking the position, Zale was senior vice president for investor relations with Nielsen Holdings NV.


Terreno Realty Corp. (NYSE: TRNO) announced the promotion of Jamie J. Cannon to CFO. He previously was senior vice president of finance and accounting.


Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO) has appointed Joseph Macnow as the company’s chief administrative officer. He will continue in his role as executive vice president of finance. Additionally, Stephen W. Theriot was named CFO. Prior to the appointment, Theriot was a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP.


Washington Real Estate Investment Trust (NYSE: WRE) elected Charles Nason as chairman of its board of directors. Nason is a 13-year veteran of the board and is succeeding John McDaniel.


Urstadt Biddle Properties Inc. (NYSE: UBA) has separated the roles of board chairman and CEO. Charles Urstadt will continue to serve as chairman and an executive officer of the company. Willing Biddle, the company’s president and COO, will become CEO.

Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) promoted John D. Cobb to executive vice president and chief investment officer. Prior to the promotion, he was senior vice president. Lori B. Wittman was promoted to senior vice president for capital markets and investor relations.


Weyerhauser Co. (NYSE: WY) announced Doyle Simons will become president and CEO on Aug. 1. As planned, Dan Fulton will become executive vice chairman until October when he will retire from the company.
