president and COO, will retire effective Sept. 30, 2014.

American Realty Capital New York Recovery REIT Inc. promoted Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer Michael Happel to president. The company named Stag Industrial Inc. (NYSE: STAG) CFO Gregory Sullivan as its CFO and COO.

Thomas Wirth has been appointed executive vice president and CFO of Brandywine Realty Trust (NYSE: BDN), replacing Howard Sipzner.


Briony Quinn has been promoted to chief accounting officer at DiamondRock Hospitality Company (NYSE: DRH).


Equity One, Inc. (NYSE: EQY) said CEO Jeffrey Olson will not renew his employment agreement, which expires on Dec. 31, 2014.

David Lukes will take over as CEO after Olson’s departure. Lukes most recently served as president and CEO of Sears Holdings Corp. affiliate Seritage Realty Trust.


Health Care REIT, Inc. (NYSE: HCN) announced that Thomas DeRosa has been appointed CEO and Jeffrey Donahue has been named chairman. The moves come on the heels of George Chapman’s retirement.

smaller, enclosed shopping centers and strip shopping centers, Washington Prime Group.

Sun Communities, Inc. (NYSE: SUI) named COO John McLaren president of the company, replacing Gary Shiffman, who will continue as chairman and CEO of the company.


Trade Street Residential, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSRE) said David Levin resigned as the company’s president and as a board member. The company appointed Richard Ross, its new CEO. He will also remain CFO on an interim basis.
