Aimco (NYSE: AIV) named John Bezzant chief investment officer.


Columbia Property Trust has appointed James Fleming as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Fleming was executive vice president and CFO for Schottenstein Property Group, prior to this position.

Duke Realty Corp. (NYSE: DRE) announced the promotion of Nick Anthony to executive vice president and chief investment officer. He will also be a member of the company’s executive, operating and investment committees. Anthony has been with Duke Realty since 1989 and has held the position of senior vice president of capital transactions and joint ventures since 2005


Essex Property Trust (NYSE: ESS) announced that Bryan Hunt will resign from his position as vice president and chief accounting officer. He will be replaced by Michael Dance

Extra Space Storage Inc. (NYSE: EXR) named Charles Allen executive vice president and chief investment officer. Previously, he was executive vice president and chief legal officer at the company. Kenneth Woolley, formerly executive chairman of the board and chief investment officer, assumed the sole role of executive chairman of the board. Also, Gwyn McNeal was appointed senior vice president and chief legal officer. Formerly, she was the vice president of legal operations at the company. Karl Haas, executive vice president and COO, announced he will retire effective Dec. 31. The company said it will appoint Samrat Sondhi to senior vice president of operations.


Plum Creek Timber Company, Inc. (NYSE: PCL) announced the appointment of Timothy Punke in the newly created position of senior vice president, corporate affairs and public policy. Prior to this position, Punke was with Monument Policy Group, a bipartisan public policy consulting firm.


Potlatch Corp. (NYSE: PCH) appointed Jerald Richards to vice president and CFO. Richards will replace Eric Cremers, who was recently promoted to president and COO of the company. Richards was previously chief accounting officer of Weyerhaeuser Co.


Prologis, Inc. (NYSE: PLD) announced that Guy Jaquier has completed the transition of his responsibilities as the company’s CEO of private capital. He is no longer an executive officer of the company and will retire at the end of 2013.

Supertel Hospitality, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPPR) named Jeffrey Dougan chief operating officer. He is replacing Steven Gilbert, who is retiring.

Trade Street Residential, Inc. announced the appointment of David Levin as vice chairman and president. Prior to taking the position, he was vice chairman of LNR Property LLC.


Weyerhaeuser Co. (NYSE: WY) appointed Doyle Simmons to succeed Dan Fulton as the firm’s CEO. Prior to this position, Simmons was the CEO of Temple-Inland, a corrugated packing and building products company. Weyerhaeuser also named Deven Stockfish as corporate secretary, and he will continue to serve as general counsel of the company. He is succeeding Claire Grace, who is retiring. Weyerhaeuser also named Jeanne Hillman vice president and chief accounting officer. She is replacing Jerald Richards.
