Five CEOs who head U.S. REITs were included in Harvard Business Review’s list of the 100 best-performing CEOs in the world.
The list featured:
- Jim Taiclet of American Tower Corp. (NYSE: AMT) at No. 36;
- Debra Cafaro of Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) at No. 43;
- Hamid Moghadam of Prologis, Inc. (NYSE: PLD) and David Simon of Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) tied at No. 53; and
- Ron Havner of Public Storage (NYSE: PSA) at No. 92.
HBR compiled its list based on rankings of 895 CEOs from 886 companies around the world. The CEOs were rated based on a series of financial metrics and criteria related to environmental, social and governance factors.
