NAREIT Attends TEXPERS Annual Conference

NAREIT's Investor Outreach team participated in the Texas Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems (TEXPERS) annual conference in Austin, Texas. The TEXPERS membership includes 71 pension and retirement systems representing approximately $89 billion in assets.

Many of Texas' public pension systems have embraced commercial real estate as an integral component of their investment portfolios. This development was featured in a panel discussion focused on how plans can use dynamic asset allocation to manage portfolio risk.
