AvalonBay Communities Inc. (NYSE: AVB) named Leo Horey executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Previously, he was executive vice president of property operations.
Behringer Harvard Opportunity REIT I Inc. appointed Andrew Bruce as chief financial officer. Previously, he served as senior vice president of capital markets.
Boston Properties Inc. (NYSE: BXP) announced the resignation of Mitchell Norville, executive vice president and chief operating officer. Douglas Linde, the company’s president, will assume the COO responsibilities.
Equity One Inc. (NYSE: EQY) named Aaron Kitlowski vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. He is replacing Arthur Gallagher, who resigned from the position in January. Prior to the appointment, Kitlowski had served as vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant secretary.
Highwoods Properties Inc. (NYSE: HIW) named Ted Klinck as chief investment officer.
Potlatch Corp. (Nasdaq: PCH) named Eric Cremers executive vice president and chief financial officer. Previously, he served as vice president for finance and chief financial officer.
Sovran Self Storage Inc. (NYSE: SSS) appointed David Rogers chief executive officer. He was previously chief financial officer. Robert Attea, the former CEO, will now serve as executive chairman of the board of directors and continue to oversee the general direction of the company. Also, Andrew Gregoier will assume the position of chief financial officer. Paul Powell will be promoted to executive vice president of real estate management.
Wells Real Estate Funds has named Robert Kennedy president and chief operating officer. He most recently served as the company’s senior vice president for product development and special projects.
