Philip Charls, chief executive of EPRA, joined REIT.com for a video interview at REITWeek 2016: NAREIT’s Investor Forum at the Waldorf Astoria New York.

EPRA promotes, develops and represents the European public real estate sector.

Charls offered his thoughts on the United Kingdom’s upcoming referendum on membership in the European Union.

“The general feeling is that it’s obvious to all of us on either side of the channel would be much better off if the U.K. stays in, rather than out of the E.U.,” Charls commented.

Charls also discussed the evolving behavior of European investors. Lastly, he outlined EPRA’s primary objectives in the second half of 2016.
