Commercial Property Update 2013:Q4

Market conditions improved across all property types in the fourth quarter.  Strong demand for apartments pushed absorption higher, although a pick-up in new supply tempered the decline in vacancy rates.  Office rents increased, despite the slow decline in office vacancies.  The retail sector posted modest improvements in vacancies and rents but is still lagging the other property sectors.
