Nareit Statement on the Passing of Wesley LePatner, CEO of BREIT

WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 29, 2025) – Today, Nareit President and CEO Steven A. Wechsler issued the following statement: 

“Nareit is deeply saddened by the tragic death of Wesley LePatner, Chief Executive Officer of Blackstone Real Estate Investment Trust (BREIT).
