Total attendance at REITWeek® 2016: NAREIT's Investor Forum®, which runs from June 7 to June 9, is currently expected to top 2,400. More than 450 REIT executives will be in attendance and meeting with institutional investors at this year’s event, which is being held at New York’s Waldorf Astoria hotel.

The lunch general session on  June 7 features a discussion with GOH Kok Huat, COO and president for real estate with GIC Private Limited, and Christopher Nassetta, president and CEO of Hilton Worldwide. Highwoods Properties (NYSE: HIW) President and CEO Ed Fritsch, NAREIT's 2016 Chair, will moderate the roundtable.

On June 8, David Bragg, managing director at Green Street Advisors, will moderate a spotlight session on the single-family rental market.  Panel participants will include:

  • Bryce Blair, executive chairman of Invitation Homes;
  • Curt Schade, president and COO of Progress Residential Master Trust;
  • David Singelyn, CEO of American Homes 4 Rent; and
  • Frederick Tuomi, CEO of Colony Starwood Homes.

REITWeek wraps up on June 9 with John King, CNN’s chief national correspondent, speaking at the lunch general session.
