Nareit Announces 2027 Officers and Board Members

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Nov. 2, 2026) – Nareit announced the election of its 2027 officers, the members of its executive board, and its advisory board of governors.

Sumit Roy, president and CEO of Realty Income Corporation, will serve as Nareit’s chair in 2027, following his leadership of the organization in 2026.

“Over the past year, Sumit has drawn on his extensive experience and longstanding commitment to the industry to guide Nareit’s work. We appreciate his continued service as we represent the interests of REITs and support the industry’s ongoing success,” said Nareit President and CEO Steven A. Wechsler.
