In April, NAREIT’s Investor Outreach team held direct meetings with a diverse group of 32 investment organizations controlling more than $8 trillion in assets in the institutional investment market.
The meetings were held with organizations across all targeted investment cohorts, including: two with prominent domestic pension plans representing more than $71 billion in assets; two with investment consultants with assets under advisement of more than $17 billion; and 18 with investment managers sponsoring global and domestic products for the institutional and retail investor markets and having over $8 trillion in assets under management.
Another 10 meetings were held with other organizations and associations active in investment management and retirement planning.
The Outreach team held 13 meetings in April with investment managers active in the $7.1 trillion defined contribution plan market and $7.4 trillion IRA market.
On the academic and institutional investment conference circuit, Outreach team members participated in four events in April.
