REITs in the Community: Rep. Boyle in Philadelphia

May 7, 2019 - Rep. Brendan Boyle (D-PA) met with Independence Realty Trust (NYSE: IRT) CEO Scott Schaeffer and Liberty Property Trust (NYSE: LPT) CEO Bill Hankowsky at IRT's downtown Philadelphia headquarters. The Congressman, a new member of the House Ways & Means Committee, was updated on the current state of the REIT industry as well as both companies' presence in Pennsylvania and across the country. Rep. Boyle also discussed his outlook on the legislative agenda of the 116th Congress.
