REITs in the Community: Rep. Kildee Visits Brixmor Property Group

May 13, 2019 - Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MI) met with Brixmor Property Group (NYSE: BRX) CEO James Taylor at the company's headquarters in New York City. The Congressman, a new member of the House Ways & Means Committee, was updated on the current state of the REIT industry as well as Brixmor's presence in Michigan and across the country. Rep. Kildee discussed his outlook on the economic development issues that will be addressed in the 116th Congress and the importance of Congress reauthorizing the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program (TRIA).
