REITs in the Community: Park Hotels & Resorts Visits Congressional Black Caucus

June 27, 2019 - At an event in Washington, D.C., Park Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: PK) CEO and 2018 Nareit Chair Thomas J. Baltimore, Jr. met with several members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). During the discussion, Baltimore addressed the growth of the REIT and publicly traded real estate industry and the positive impact the industry has on local communities. Nareit staff provided an update on issues impacting the industry during the 116th Congress. Additionally, Baltimore and the CBC Members discussed the importance of enhancing real estate investment opportunitites for diverse investors in urban and rural areas.
