REITs in the Community: Rep. Curtis Visits Extra Space Storage

Aug. 19, 2019 - Rep. John Curtis (R-UT) visited the corporate headquarters of Extra Space Storage (NYSE: EXR) in Salt Lake City, UT, and met with CEO Joe Margolis. The Congressman, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and House Natural Resources Committee, was briefed on the company's portfolio across 40 states and status as a REIT. Additionally, Rep. Curtis was updated on issues impacting the REIT and publicly traded real estate industry in the 116th Congress.
