Sanjay Lall joined Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD) as executive vice president and chief information officer. Lall previously served in senior roles at Interface, Inc., Tyco/SimplexGrinnell, STERIS Corp., and Suntory Water Group.

Empire State Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: ESRT) said David Karp will be stepping down from his role as executive vice president and CFO for personal reasons, effective Aug. 1. Andrew Prentice, chief accounting officer and treasurer, will serve as acting CFO while the company looks for a permanent successor.

EPR Properties (NYSE: EPR) elected Virginia Shanks to serve as an independent trustee on its board. Shanks is a strategic advisor for Penn National Gaming, Inc. and previously served as executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Pinnacle Entertainment, a casino entertainment company, prior to its merger with Penn National.

Lamar Advertising Co. (Nasdaq: LAMR) appointed Jay Johnson to serve as CFO, effective Oct. 1. Johnson will succeed Keith Istre, whose intent to retire effective Dec. 31 was previously announced. Johnson has served as executive vice president and CFO of DiamondRock Hospitality Co. (NYSE: DRH) since April 2018.

Lexington Realty Trust (NYSE: LXP) announced that executive vice president Patrick Carroll has been named the company’s chief risk officer. Carroll previously served as Lexington’s CFO since 1998 and treasurer since 1999. Lexington also announced that executive vice president Beth Boulerice has been appointed as CFO and treasurer. Boulerice previously served as Lexington’s chief accounting officer. 

Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corp. (NYSE: MNR) said Allison Viscardi was promoted to vice president of property management. Viscardi has served as Monmouth’s senior property manager since 2012.

National Storage Affiliates Trust (NYSE: NSA) has elevated Arlen Nordhagen, chairman, CEO, and founder, to executive chairman, effective Jan. 1, 2020. At the same time, Tamara Fischer will be appointed CEO, in addition to her current role as president.

Office Properties Income Trust (Nasdaq: OPI) said Matthew Brown has been appointed as CFO, treasurer, and senior vice president.

Simon Property Group (NYSE: SPG) announced the appointment of Eli Simon as senior vice president of corporate investments. Before joining the company, Simon was the principal and head of North American lodging at Och-Ziff Capital Management and Och-Ziff Real Estate.

STORE Capital Corp. (NYSE: STOR) reported that Michael Bennett, executive vice president—general counsel, chief compliance officer, and secretary, stepped down on May 24 for health-related reasons.

Robert Probst, executive vice president and CFO of Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR), has been named Financial Executive International’s 2019 Public Company Financial Executive of the Year. The national award is presented annually to a CFO who has made a major impact within their company, achieved success in the company’s growth and profitability, and shown exemplary leadership skills throughout their career.

Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corp. (NYSE: WMC) appointed HarrisTrifon as chief investment officer and Sean Johnson as deputy chief investment officer. Trifon previously served as co-head of mortgage and consumer credit at Western Asset Management Company, LLC, the company's manager. Johnson, a portfolio manager in Western Asset's mortgage and consumer credit group, recently served as interim co-chief investment officer for the company.

David Wold was named vice president and chief accounting officer at Weyerhaeuser Co. (NYSE: WY), replacing Jeanne Hillman, who retired from the position. Wold joined Weyerhaeuser in November 2013 as senior manager, accounting, and had been corporate controller of the company since March 2018.
