Suzanne Fallender, vice president of global ESG at Prologis, Inc. (NYSE: PLD), sat down for a video interview at Nareit’s REITwise: 2026 Educational Conference in Hollywood, Florida on March 24-26.

Prologis was one of three recipients of Nareit’s 2026 Leader in the Light Award for transparency.

Fallender explained that transparency is a core business practice at Prologis, centered on delivering clear, decision-useful information to investors, customers, and stakeholders. The company aligns its disclosures closely with business performance—especially in areas like energy and sustainability—while pairing metrics with real-world examples to illustrate impact.

This approach helps build trust and reinforces long-term value creation. Internally, transparency is embedded through a data-driven culture that uses consistent metrics for both reporting and decision-making across its global portfolio. Fallender emphasized that transparency is not static but continuously refined through investor feedback and ongoing dialogue, ensuring disclosures remain relevant and actionable.

“Transparency…means providing a decision-useful, clear story for our investors and other stakeholders in terms of how we create long-term value,” she said.
