Brad Schneider (D-IL) visited the Northbrook Court Mall in Northbrook, Illinois, which is owned and managed by Brookfield Properties Retail.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, visited the headquarters of Camden Property Trust in Houston.

Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) visited the Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree, CO which is owned and managed by Brookfield Properties Retail. 

A team from Nareit visited with American Tower officials on the rooftop of Boston Properties' 200 Clarendon Street building in Boston.

Rep. Rick Allen (R-GA) visited the Augusta Exchange which is owned and managed by Kimco Realty and met with company executives. 

Rep. John Curtis (R-UT) visited the corporate headquarters of Extra Space Storage in Salt Lake City, UT, and met with CEO Joe Margolis. 

Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ) met with STORE Capital President & CEO Chris Volk at an event in Phoenix. 

Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) visited the Miami International Commerce Center, which is owned and managed by PS Business Parks. 

Rep. Jim Himes (D-CT), a member of the House Financial Services Committee, visited the Norwalk Data Center, which is owned and operated by CyrusOne.

At an event in Washington, D.C., Park Hotels & Resorts CEO and 2018 Nareit Chair Thomas J. Baltimore, Jr. met with several members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) to discuss the positive impact REITs have on local communities.
