CFOs from four REITs discussed the different paths people take to reach the CFO role, what the C-suite looks for in a successful investor relations program, and advice for professionals aspiring to become CFOs during a panel at Nareit’s 2021 REIT Investor Relations Symposium.

REITs have significantly increased their focus on ESG initiatives and reporting over the past several years, according to panelists participating in a June 2 webinar, “REITs and ESG: Challenge and Opportunity,” co-hosted by Nareit and Bloomberg Intelligence.

Over the course of three days, more than 140 REIT management teams will host 30-minute company presentations and virtual private meetings with investors.
