The ESG Forum will take place Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2019, with two optional pre-forum workshops—the JumpStart Workshop and the Sustainability Leadership Workshop—held on Jan. 30, 2019.

Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) met with National Retail Properties CEO Jay Whitehurst at the company's headquarters in Orlando, FL. 

Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-NY) visited the Tanger Outlets in Riverhead, NY. The outlets are owned and operated by Tanger Factory Outlet Centers.

Rep. Donald Norcross (D-NJ) visited the Cherry Hill Mall, which is located in Cherry Hill, NJ. The mall is owned and operated by PREIT.

Rep. Richard Hudson (R-NC) visited Concord Mills in Concord, NC. The mall is owned and managed by Simon Property Group.

Nareit’s Cathy Barré says final regulations should clarify that the deduction applies to shareholders of mutual funds that own REIT stocks.
