Acadia Realty Trust (NYSE: AKR) named Tamara Fischer to the company’s board of trustees and to the nominating and corporate governance committee of the board. She most recently served as executive chairperson of National Storage Affiliates Trust from April 2023 until NSA’s acquisition by Public Storage (NYSE: PSA) in July, and previously served as NSA’s CEO, president, and CFO.
Chiron Real Estate Inc. (NYSE: XRN) announced today that its board of directors appointed Charles Fitzgerald as chairman of the board. Jeffrey Busch, the company’s founder and outgoing chairman, will remain a director following this transition. Fitzgerald has served as a director of Chiron since May 2026 and is the founder and managing partner of Maewyn Capital Partners LLC, a Dallas-based investment firm.
EastGroup Properties, Inc. (NYSE: EGP) said Bethany Logan Ropa and Robyn Werner have been appointed to the EastGroup board of directors. Since 2025, Ropa has served as CFO of JE Dunn Construction Group, a privately held general contractor. Werner, a certified public accountant, was an assurance partner with Ernst & Young LLP from 2008 until her retirement in 2025.
Pebblebrook Hotel Trust (NYSE: PEB) said Bill Bayless joined its board of trustees. Bayless is the CEO of Maslow Campus Communities and helped build and institutionalize the modern student housing sector. He co-founded American Campus Communities and led its growth from an early-stage platform into the first publicly traded student housing company. In 2022, he helped lead the company’s approximately $13 billion sale to Blackstone.
UDR, Inc. (NYSE: UDR) announced that Scott McCallum will join the company as executive vice president - chief investment officer effective Nov. 5. McCallum joins UDR from Blackstone Inc. He joined Blackstone in 2017, and most recently served as a managing director in the real estate group. Prior to joining Blackstone, McCallum was an officer in the United States Navy.
