The January/February 2016 issue of REIT magazine is now available in print and online.
The issue’s cover story, “Fresh Face,” looks at industry veteran Glenn Rufrano’s efforts to rebuild triple-net least REIT VEREIT, Inc. (NYSE: VER) from its predecessor, American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. In an interview with the magazine, Rufrano says his experience in leadership roles at three other real estate companies in the previous 15 years helped prepare him for the challenges VEREIT is facing.
One of the issue’s feature articles, “A Starring Role,” details the growing number of women holding influential positions throughout the REIT industry. The article includes short profiles of four female REIT executives and a Q-and-A Camden Property Trust’s (NYSE: CPT) Laurie Baker, the 2016 president of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.
