Nareit’s REITweek: 2025 Investor Conference took place in New York City on June 2-5. Nearly 2,500 people came together over the course of the week to discuss REITs and REIT-based real estate investments, with 90 REITs and publicly traded real estate companies making investor presentations.

The week kicked off on June 2 with the ninth annual REIT Investor Relations Symposium at the New York Stock Exchange, with representatives from nearly 70 REITs in attendance.

On June 3, the lunch general session, moderated by Conor Flynn, Nareit’s 2025 chair and CEO of Kimco Realty Corporation, dove into how REITs are navigating capital markets and economic uncertainty. Panelists included leading REIT and commercial real estate experts Ragavan Bala of Barclays, Scott Levin of Wells Fargo, and Jeff Horowitz of BofA Securities.

A panel later that day featured five leading European REITs and focused on European real estate and the unique value it offers for global investors. Cedrik Lachance, director of research at Green Street, moderated the panel that included: Mark Allan, CEO of Landsec; Ismael Clemente, CEO of MERLIN Properties SOCIMI, S.A.; Philip Grosse, CFO of Vonovia SE; Pere Viñolas, CEO of Inmobiliaria Colonial; and Jean-Marie Tritant, CEO of Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield. They discussed trends in the office, retail, and residential sectors, and the importance of quality assets.

On June 4, a session with Bloomberg Intelligence global property analysts from around the world highlighted the top takeaways from REITweek. Nareit’s John Worth, along with Bloomberg Intelligence’s Lindsay Dutch and Jeffrey Langbaum, moderated the session. Bloomberg Senior Analysts Sue Munden, European Property, and Patrick Wong, APAC Real Estate, discussed what key takeaways from the conference say about broader trends in the U.S. REIT market, and how those trends compare to those in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Throughout the week, Nareit shared event updates and conversations on social media. The Nareit communications team also met with and conducted video interviews with more than 30 REIT CEOs.
