REIT Industry Names to Note

Agree Realty Corporation (NYSE: ADC) announced the appointment of Matthew Partridge as executive vice president, secretary and CFO. 

Annaly Capital Management, Inc. (NYSE: NLY) promoted David Finkelstein to chief investment officer, agency and residential mortgage-backed securities; Timothy Coffey to chief credit officer; Helen Crossen to chief administrative officer; Peter Dancy to head of middle market lending; and Jessica LaScala as head of investor relations.

Annaly also expanded its management team through the additions of Johanna Griffin as managing director and head of agency and non-agency MBS risk; John Montesi as managing director – syndications on the commercial real estate team; Paul Mundinger as a managing director and associate general counsel on Annaly’s commercial real estate legal team; Audrey Susanin as director, associate general counsel; and Howard Kim as a director, head of compensation, benefits and HR operations.

Getty Realty Corp. (NYSE: GTY) said Danion Fielding has been named vice president, CFO and treasurer. 

Crown Castle International Corp. (NYSE: CCI) announced that Jay Brown, currently Crown Castle’s CFO, will become Crown Castle’s president and CEO, effective June 1. Ben Moreland, currently Crown Castle’s president and CEO, will remain as executive vice-chairman. Also on June 1, Daniel Schlanger will join the company as CFO. 

Douglas Emmett, Inc. (NYSE: DEI) said Mona Gisler, its chief accounting officer, will become its CFO, replacing Theodore Guth, who has retired. 

Kimberly Schaefer was named as an independent director of EdR (NYSE: EDR). Schaefer has served as CEO of Great Wolf Resorts, Inc. since January 2009.

Global Net Lease, Inc. (NYSE: GNL) appointed Timothy Salvemini as CFO, treasurer and secretary. Most recently, Salvemini served as chief administrative officer of Rouse Properties, Inc. (NYSE: RSE).

J. Christopher Douglas has been appointed as the executive vice president and CFO of Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. (NYSE: HR)

HCP, Inc. (NYSE: HCP) promoted Troy McHenry to executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. McHenry succeeds James Mercer, who retired from HCP in February.

Mack-Cali Realty Corp. (NYSE: CLI) announced that Christopher DeLorenzo was promoted to executive vice president of leasing and Ricardo Cardoso was elevated to chief investment officer.

PREIT (NYSE: PEI) announced that Ron Rubin will step down as the company’s executive chairman, a role he has held since 2012, effective June 7, 2016. Rubin will continue in his role as chairman of the board.

Ramco-Gershenson Properties Trust (NYSE: RPT) announced the appointment of Geoffrey Bedrosian as CFO. 

Realty Income Corp. (NYSE: O) announced that Sumit Roy, COO, has been named president of the company. Neil Abraham has been promoted to executive vice president and chief investment officer. In addition, Richard Collins stepped down as executive vice president for portfolio management after 25 years at the company. 

Dawn Nguyen was promoted to senior vice president for portfolio management. Ben Fox was promoted to senior vice president for asset and portfolio management.

Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) appointed Richard Siedel, Jr. as its CFO and treasurer. 

Silver Bay Realty Trust Corp. (NYSE: SBY) appointed lead independent director Thomas Brock as interim president and CEO following the resignation of David Miller as the company’s president and CEO. Brock has served on Silver Bay’s board as lead independent director and chair of the compensation committee since its initial public offering in December 2012.

William Crooker was named CFO, executive vice president and treasurer of STAG Industrial, Inc. (NYSE: STAG). Crooker replaces Geoffrey Jervis, who left STAG in order to pursue other opportunities. 

Wilkes Graham was named CFO of Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust, Inc(NASDAQ: WHLR). Graham will succeed Steven Belote, who will remain with the company as its COO.
