Resolution Capital
Australia’s Resolution Capital worked with a European institutional investor to add global listed REITs to an existing private real estate portfolio. Integrating public and private real estate gave the investor greater liquidity, exposure to a broader range of sectors and geographies, and enable it to capitalize on valuation differences between public and private real estate.

LaSalle Securities
LaSalle Securities and a group of institutional investors, including a U.S. state pension plan, used REITs to complement private real estate portfolios that were concentrated in traditional property sectors. From the first quarter of 2018 through the first quarter of 2026, LaSalle’s actively managed completion strategy generated a cumulative total return of 162%, compared with 80% for the broader REIT index and 35% for the NFI-ODCE Index.
