Rep. John Carter (R-TX) visited Simon Property Group's Round Rock Premium Outlets located in Round Rock, Texas. He was hosted at the center by Simon's Amy Yatkeman, Director of Marketing & Business Development and Anisha Yadav, General Manager.
Rep. Brian Higgins (D-NY) met with Life Storage CEO David Rogers in Buffalo, New York. Rogers provided Higgins, who is a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, with an update on the growth and evolution of the company and its deep roots in western New York. 
Rep. Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) visited the Dadeland Mall in Miami that is owned and operated by Simon Property Group. Rep. Curbelo, a new member of the House Ways and Means Committee, received a briefing on the mall's activities.
Rep. Richard Neal (D-MA), Ranking Member of the House Ways & Means Committee, visited the offices of Boston Properties, Inc. in New York where he met with several leading REIT executives. 
Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) visited Macerich's Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto, CA, and toured the property with Todd Falduti, senior manager, property management and Michael E. Johnson, vice president, property management, Northwest Property Group. Rep. Denham was briefed on the mall's recent activities and the economic impact it has on California's Central Valley.
Rep. Mark Walker (R-NC), a member of the House Homeland Security Committee, visited CBL & Associates' Friendly Center in Greensboro, NC. During the visit, the Congressman was briefed by General Manager Brad Rogers on the properties' recent developments and economic impact on the local community.
Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, visited AvalonBay Communities' Avalon Esterra Park property in Redmond, WA. During the visit, the Congresswoman was briefed on the status of AVB's investment in the Seattle region.
Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) visited with executives from Piedmont Office Realty Trust in Atlanta and was updated on the company's current development projects in Georgia and throughout the country. Rep. Price is Chairman of the House Budget Committee and a senior member of the House Ways & Means Committee.
Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA) visited the corporate headquarters of Lamar Advertising in Baton Rouge, LA where he met with CEO Sean Reilly. Mr. Reilly gave the Congressman a tour of Lamar's headquarters and described for him the economic impact the company provides to Baton Rouge and the state of Louisiana.
Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-AR), a member of the House Budget Committee, visited CNL Lifestyle Properties' Magic Springs amusement park in Hot Springs, AR. During the visit, the Congressman was briefed on the park's contribution to the local economy.
Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ) visited the Vista De Sol dormitory facility located at Arizona State University (ASU) in Tempe, AZ which is owned and managed by American Campus Communities (ACC). Schweikert, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, was briefed on ACC's properties at ASU and other Arizona universities.
