Poliquin, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, was briefed by James Gerety, General Manager, and Kimberly Reid, Director of Marketing and Business Development, on the mall's latest activities and economic contributions to the local community.
Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) visited the corporate headquarters of Iron Mountain in Boston. The Senator was briefed on Iron Mountain's operations in Connecticut, its global real estate portfolio, and its status as a REIT.
Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY) visited the Jim Beam Suntory facility located in Frankfort, KY which is owned by Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corporation and received an update on the company's recent activities in the area. Barr, a member of the House Financial Services Committee, was briefed on the facilities' latest developments and toured the property with local company representatives, including MREIC CEO Mike Landy.

During a visit to Boston, Sen. Richard Burr (R-NC) met briefly with American Tower Chairman, President and CEO, James Taiclet. Taiclet updated Burr, Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and a member of the Senate Finance Committee, on American Tower's North Carolina operations and its Network Operations Center located in Cary, NC. 
Rep. Bill Foster (D-IL), a member of the House Financial Services Committee, visited the Chicago Premium Outlets, a Simon Property Group property located in Aurora, IL.
Rep. Steve Knight (R-CA) visited Forest City’s Antelope Valley Mall in Palmdale, CA, and was briefed by the mall’s General Manager Scott Cummings and Senior Vice President, Property Management Alan Schmiedicker. Rep. Knight, a member of the House Armed Services Committee, took a brief tour of the property and learned about recent improvements the company has made to the mall’s infrastructure.
